High-performing, conservative school districts in SE VA?

Is it really a surprise that Trump-voting districts have low levels of education? The most highly educated areas of the US, where you're going to find the best public schools, do not vote for Trump.

Sounds like you’ve never heard of the excellent suburban school districts in Texas, Florida and Alabama.

"Voted for Trump" and "high-performing" schools will not exist, OP.

However you can have "moderate conservative" and "high-performing". Possibly in religious private schools in purple districts, but you'll need to dig deeper. I am not aware of public school districts that are reliably conservative AND high-performing, because the reliably red portions of VA are rural and not as educated.

1. OP asked for VA.
2. I'll wager that a lot of these excellent suburban schools districts you mention are actually moderate conservatives and not many are true believing MAGAs.

WTAF is a "conservative" school districts? School districts aren't liberal or conservative.

Roanoke County (not Roanoke City) schools are pretty good but I wouldn't say it's that conservative by overall US standards (maybe by DC standards) and it is becoming increasingly less conservative as the population of the Roanoke-Salem area changes and more and more liberal and highly educated transplants move down there for jobs with the hospitals or big companies down there.

Are those the ones that tend to tussle with the fascist impulses of their governators? You know, the ones pushing back on the book banning, etc?

Roanoke is SW, not SE.

I’m sure OP would think Eanes School District (carefully drawn boundaries around Austin) in Texas is a “high-performing, conservative” district.

Sounds like you've never heard of election results maps which show that most of the suburban counties in Texas and Florida and even Alabama voted for Biden in 2020.

The high-performing public schools in Hampton Roads are all in Virginia’s 2nd congressional district, which flipped from blue to red in 2022, but whose voters mostly went for Biden in 2020.
