Yes. My teen dd saw her before heading to college, based in the recommendation from several friends who's teens also saw her |

That has absolutely NOT been my experience, and believe me, I have a good 30 pounds to lose. |
| Lauren Gordon, CNM, WHNP, at Bloom OBGyn in Tenley; the office is very easy to access by car, bus and metro. She is very knowledgeable, very kind, very respectful, she listens well, explains options, and is very supportive and meets her patients exactly where they are, and she does not judge or minimize. Bloom OBGyn also offers telehealth appointments. |
Excuse me, OP stated they both have issues around their bodies. That screams mental health to me. |
Would she be a good fit for NB teens though, in your opinion? (or if you might know.) |
| Just take her to yours. She doesn’t need a special “teen” gynecologist |
This sounds like a potential disaster. Many gyns- even in this area - are not at all prepared to deal with the issues here. |
| Gynecologists are not mental health experts or counselors. They deal with physical issues. You need to have your girls see a mental health specialist in body issues or ones with experience dealing with NB. |
*girls, boys, and other genders |
Yes I do, as a matter of fact. Why on earth do you care? |
Social contagion. |
This is very common with ultra progressive. It's kinda sad. |
