| We basically just nix the “carb” component to meals, as none of us are huge matzah fans. At dinner we usually do a protein like salmon, roast veggies and sometimes roast potatoes. But you asked about packed camp lunches - I’d make salads adding cheese or chicken or nuts for the protein; roll up deli meats with yogurt and veggies; egg or tuna salad in a container with a fork (instead of sandwich); cold chicken legs; soup in a thermos (except it is 80 deg this week 😊). |
