Healthy living probably does not hurt fertility overall, but I don't think it actually has anything to do with the quality of your egg, unfortunately. Eggs decline as you age, I'm not even sure if some people have eggs that decline faster or if it is just a "luck of the draw" thing. Two of the people I know with what you would call the "healthiest" lifestyle (slim, exercised, low fat diet etc) had multiple miscarriages for both #1 and #2.

I don't think m/cs in general are necessarily an overall statement of egg quality. Something like 25-50% of pregnancies miscarry, regardless of maternal age. It is just that we know about them now because we can POAS even before our period is due.
