OP here. My child is white. He is often singled out because he is social. And to everyone wondering about him checking the time on his phone, he doesn't know how to read the school clocks (and neither does your kid). |
Teach him. |
+1 seriously |
Most MS kids can't tell time on an analog clock. |
+2 Don't undermine the official policy. It's bad enough that some teachers don't enforce it. My child has had their phone confiscated and it's really not a big deal. The student picks it up at the end of the day. If you're thinking of taking this up with the administration, please ask for consistency in enforcement, not for the policy to be relaxed or for an apology on behalf of your son. -Pyle parent |
Yes must kids can read a walk clock. Please teach your kid if they did not get it in first grade. |
How do kids in middle school even have phones - what are the parents thinking? |
Who do we blame for that? |
That, and how did it get missed? Get them a watch then so the phone can stay put away. |
OP should buy her kid a (non smart) watch if he needs to know what time it is during class. |
What? Our kids most assuredly do know how to read clocks. Is your kid a preschooler? |
How asinine. Then their parents have failed. |
| Put the damn phone away. |
If you believe this lame a$$ excuse story, I have beach front property to sell you in Kansas |
Please stop
