Theres an aveeno night moisturizer that is really good. Might have mushroom extract in it... |
+1 this is THE best hands down. |
Another vote for ROC night cream. My dermatologist said that was one of the best. I also use the regenerist line which I get at Costco. |
+1 |
Drug store moisturizers essentially do the same thing. None are worth paying premium prices. I’ve been using Ponds Dry Skin Cream since poor college student days. It’s still a bargain and gets the job done.
|
I don’t take too much stock in what dermatologists recommend. Some are just one step above cosmetologists. |
OP here: So far this is my favorite! Thanks for suggesting it. |
L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Pressed Night Cream, Retinol + Niacinamide, Reduces Wrinkles, Fragrance Free |
Olay Regenerist Shea Butter + Peptide 24 Rich Cream
I love it. And fragrance-free. |
Another vote for Olay Regenerist. Great price at Costco. |
The Cetaphil and Cerave creams are moisturizing but for me they feel thicker and have almost a layer left behind that can pill under makeup. So I often use them at night in the winter to slather them on and not worry about how they wear during the day.
For less dry months I like the Trader Joe's pump - its light, not really a cream - that is supposedly a Youth for the People dupe. I use this all the time. I do think the expensive ones are better but can't do those all the time. I like Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, Sunday Riley Ice (though it's been giving me a slight stingy redness lately so I might not rebuy), and Fresh Lotus Youth whatever it's called. |
Olay micro sculpting night cream and Kiehls night retinol serum are amazing.
|
For budget friendly option, my Dermatologist recommended Ponds Dry Skin Cream.
|
THIS! Between my retinol cleanser and this cream, there is a noticeable improvement in my skin. |
Cerave PM in the summer and then the thick Cerave moisterizer in the tub in the winter when my skin is dry. |
