VP Harris Addresses Howard Team after NCAA Loss

Voters just love what she is doing with the southern border. Expanding illegal immigration to help business hire cheap workers. And democrats get more voters.

What is not to like ???

She is an artist with words—soaring language, well delivered.

This is how Americans remember Dan Quayle: as a clueless kid who Bush regretted picking.

You forgot the part where everyone booed her.

How is this political news? It’s a famous alumnus of a school sending a message to an athletic team that made it to the finals. Good lord, it would be like saying it was political news if Glenn Youngkin addressed the Rice basketball team after a loss.

Wow, she has aged a ton in two years.

Participate in a tournament bracket discussion and you're wasting precious time on frivolity (Obama). Fail to congratulate world series winners until the morning after the world series and you're unamerican (also Obama).

So we can add: Console your alma mater after a loss, and it's image rehab.

Did anyone ever consider that maybe she's just talking to her alma mater like lots of famous alumni do all the time?

Or that Obama likes basketball, and it's OK to share his tournament bracket with the public?

And that maybe he was tied up at the moment when the Giants won the world series and could not call until Tuesday? As though it mattered when the call came in?

Kind of seems like you’re the only person “going bonkers” over this. No one else cares.

Moreover, no one cares what right-wingers go bonkers over anymore since all they do is “go bonkers” over stupid shit. They’re going exhausting. Oh, you’re mad about something again? Duly noted, pass the salt.

No, you are just getting more impromptu photos, fewer shots from a stage under lighting and with makeup. And of course judging female politicians on their looks is pretty poor.

THIS will be remembered as the pivotal point in her comeback.

It shows what she thinks of the players. I would be highly insulted if I were talked to like that. These are not dumb young men. They are committed athletes who have worked very hard to get where they are--and she talks to them like they are five years old.

Really? I looked at this differently. What should she have said?

She could have said that it was a tough loss, but that she is so proud of how far they came. Then, she could have gone around and spoken to each player personally. It was her K teacher tone--and, I was a K teacher and, while I talked on their level, I did not "talk down" to them. She was talking down.
