+1, this is all on Teams and I can forward it to my cell phone, or turn that off

I have external clients that don't all use Teams (or any video conferencing software for that matter). And to top it off, I have contractors calling me from a job site to trouble shoot things. We don't all have big corporate machine jobs where we only speak to people internally.

External people call what looks like a normal phone number but that is administered through Teams. You could set up a Google number in the same way.

that how I do it you can do a teams or google call. But what not just set up an AI chat Bot. I have not had a work phone number since 2019 and even then folks at work made fun I had one. The only person I called was my wife or she called me or many a dentist appointment. My kids 16-22 dont even pick up when phone rings and I have never ever seen them walk to the regular phone we have to make a call. The only person who calls on that is my 81 year old MIL. Even my 75 years old relatives text, post or email.

Just say no. I have a phone and to be honest I get a call on my cell phone number from a recruiter or something once a month or wife while at supermarket. Seems strange. We got rid of work numbers at work for people below Director level in 2016. We dont allow business on a personal phone anyhow.
