| I have one hardcopy book I'm reading, one I read on my phone on the kindle app usually when I'm waiting somewhere and one I'm listening to on Chirp when I'm out walking or on a trip. |
|
I usually have multiple going at once:
- 1 chicklit/easy for when I’m stressed. - 1 fiction, a bit more high-brow - 1 nonfiction - 1 audiobook, whatever is available from the library and seems decent. I’ve read many things I wouldn’t have picked on my own because of this. I listen to these when I walk. |
| I usually have one audiobook and 2-3 physical/ebooks going. I listen to audio in my car or while doing mundane tasks like grocery shopping. The other books depend on my mood or due date. I'm in a couple book clubs so I prioritize the one that needs to be finished first. |

One Kindle that I read on my phone Kindle app and use the audio portion as I rehab "hearing" after I just got a cochlear implant. It streams directly to the device.
One for just reading, falling asleep to on the regular Kindle. Sometimes one more paperback for floating around the pool during pool season. |
| It sounds like a bunch of folks use books as background noise. I don't know whether I could do that myself. |
| I have one book on the car for when my son goes to the gym. The other book I read in the bathtub. |
| I rarely have less than 5 books going. Some on kindle, some audio (usually a copy of the kindle one) always several physical books. Sometimes I binge fiction series but also have non fiction in various stages of being read. Plus research for work and various online articles. I can juggle it all but only am paying close attention to a few at a time. Thank goodness for the library and Libby. What |

I have four going right now.
1 classic 1 historical fiction 1 historical mystery for a book club 1 "companion" that goes with a series. I'm read it slowly as I read each book. I read a little of the first three every day. |
| I listen to one book while driving and read the other one whenever I have time. I usually finish 2 audiobooks in the time I read one physical book. |
For me a lighter/easier read is the one I'd read/listen to when multitasking because I might miss details and it really doesn't matter versus a book I want/need to know every detail. |
| I generally only read ebooks out of the house, as my Paperwhite is much easier to carry than an actual book. My print books are only read in the house. So it's not so much a matter of mood, as of logistics and convenience. |
