If net worth does not subtract the mortgage debt, 15%. If net worth does subtract the mortgage debt, 25%.

This number should be higher when you are younger and have less net worth and decrease as you get older.

About 30%. We have another rental property that is another 20% and the rest is in investments.

About 30% of our HH NW. Higher than I'd like and we intend to downsize when the kids all leave for college.

NW including equity: Approx. 4.0M
Home equity: Approx. 2M (divided between primary residence and a second home that we also rent when we don't use it). We bought our primary residence in 2018 at 1.8 and it's now valued at over 3M. I don't know if that number will stick around so all of this is quite speculative. Rental property has gone up about 300K in value since 2020.

We are 38 and 42.

I would say about 60% of our net worth is in our house. It’s worth about $1.6 million, and we own it outright.

14%. House is paid off. We have a second home that accounts for another 15-20% (mostly because of the run up in value over the last few years).
