McLean and Lowell

Agreee that Lowell teachers and staff are not equipped to work effectively with LD. Major teacher turnover, also.

Lowell isn’t equipped for special needs and has tremendous staff turnover.

This is so interesting that these people are saying staff turnover at Lowell since McLean has had 20+ positions posted in the past two months and Lowell had had maybe 1.

If someone can tell a clearer story than what the career websites say themselves, I welcome the insight

The other posters probably aren’t referencing current job boards as much as their own observations of losing loads of their favorite teachers over the past 3 years.

This. I don’t think that Lowell turn over is out of the norm now.

McLean School over promises and under delivers. It’s been the same story for decades. They just want your check (& donation). Keep looking

There is always turnover, even at the most healthy school. It increases with a new head or division director. It increased with the pandemic.

Last year, our school lost 3 of 4 teachers in one grade, and it was all for personal reasons. Two moved out of state, and one went back to school.

People here are so damn eager to slam schools, yet they have no actual facts or experience with the school.
