| My daughter is at Campbell, and there is a teacher and an assistant for kindergarten. I think once the kids move to first grade, there’s no longer a full time assistant in the classroom. But there are lots of other teachers in the classroom for all or part of the day. Special Ed, interlude (the autism program), and ELL. Those teachers are assigned to specific kids or groups of kids. I don’t know completely how it works, honestly. But my daughter is having a wonderful experience! |

| We are at Barrett, in Kindergarten, and it's wonderful. For K, at least, the ESL kids are all in one class...but I honestly don't know what happens next year and assume that those kids will still likely not be proficient in English. There are two teachers in her class and infinite resources throughout the school. No idea if she's being challenged, but she's reading and the teacher does group kids by proficiency in reading at least and she's at the "high" table, etc. I do worry about how things will progress and we are moving to FFX, and I've heard mixed things about the different Title I schools there. |

| A friend who had one kid in a title 1 school and one kid in a non-title 1 school said she noticed a big difference in terms of emphasis on social emotional learning. the non-title 1 school was not bad, per se, but her perception was that the title 1 school (carlin springs in this case) was much more intensively focused at the classroom and individual level. |

Do the teachers have time to spend with the high table if there are large needs in the other groups? |
