Kinda reminds me of Dick's Sporting Goods no longer selling firearms because of pressure. |
| Won’t be using one again. Honestly annoying only for the UPS drop off. |
Chick Fil A caved to the boycotters, and no longer donates to The Salvation Army. |
It's the Democrats who are tearing down statues, as the Taliban tore down the Bamiyan Buddhas. |
You’re embarrassing yourself. I bet you claim to be “a moderate.” Oh no, wait, when you reply - on a thread about Walgreens no longer carrying safe medicine that treats a myriad of health problems - you’ll explain that you’re “a staunch dem voter” or that you “voted for Obama twice.” The GOP is the party of stupidity and cruelty. Anyone who casts a vote for them in any capacity at this point fits into both categories. |
Yes, if we had statues to Nazi's and traitors, they should be torn down. Is there a reason that statues of confederate (traitor) generals should be standing in a post civil-war era? |
If you want people to give you money for chicken sandwiches, don't support anti gay nonsense. If you don't care if they buy your sandwiches, support anti marriage equality or whatever other conservative cause suits your fancy. |
Or the former Soviet states tore down statues of Marx and Lenin. Or when the Allies tore down images of Hitler in postwar Germany. Right?? Come back and answer! |
Agree. Civil war history should be learned in textbooks. Confederate traitors should not be put on pedestals and enshrined. |
Yep. I've eaten plenty of chicken sandwiches in my day and will be perfectly happy to drive right past the chik fil a to a different store to get one. They will never get a penny of my money. |
| I was in Walgreens in Arlington yesterday. A small group of young people came in to the store, grabbed a store pound speaker phone. They announced Walgreens would be selling cytotec, though they called it “the abortion pill.” They released some balloons with anti-abortion messages, then left. |
| They should not sell viagra because it could lead to an abortion. |
Agree. Fill reproductive prescriptions for all or for none. Until then, shop elsewhere. |
The proper response would be for blue states to allow consumers to sue large pharmacies who don’t carry it. Make the damages statutory large and include attorney fees |
| Well, hopefully that will happen too. |
