Honestly we really like the home school (Hallie Wells) but there's fights there too...my older kid was bullied in 6th...I feel like that might happen to my younger DC anyway (sad). Middle school kids are obnoxious. Anyway, for those of you with kids at both your home school and Roberto Clemente (like pp), did you see a major difference in curriculum? I honestly didn't even think she'd get in so I didn't bother reading/asking questions till now. I knew she had the scores but it seems like many of her friends also had high scores. Ordinarily I'd just opt for what is easier socially but..we are very aware that she is capable more challenging stuff since she does her older sister's algebra at random (we don't send her for enrichment). Is this place going to push her a little? She's pretty low key/non competitive and completely internally motivated. I want her to be not bored. |
