I really like the gap active wear which you can get pretty cheap when it goes on sale. I theink it’s definitely sturdier than ON |
I’ve gotten great workout stuff at Target. Especially their sports bras. |
I prefer the Old Navy leggings to anything else I’ve found. Their other clothing leaves something to be desired. |
I like them, not the same fit/feel as lululemon/athleta but if you don't want to spend the money I think they work fine |
I can't stand Old Navy athletic clothing. Tried it several times. Itchy, makes me sweat, etc.
I get workout tops from Target and I stalk sales other places for leggings and sports bras. |
I work out a lot and have workout clothing from Lululemon, Athleta, Free People, Old Navy Nike, Target- basically, I have a wide variety . The Old Navy stuff is my least favorite. |
+1. |
I like the RBX brand. I get it at Marshall's/TJMaxx. |
I'm sorry, I'm still chuckling at "highly regarded." I know what you are saying, OP, but on DCUM it always makes me think of the people bragging about their HRCS. Are Old Navy leggings equivalent to Stokes or Yu Ying or LAMB? I want the cross-reference chart for discount workout gear and DC charter schools!
Anyway, if you are looking for decent quality at a lower price point than Lululemon/Athleta/Sweat Betty, I recommend checking out Everlane and Quince. Slightly pricier than ON or Amazon, but I have found the quality to be consistently good, plus I have a little more confidence in the their corporate practices and overseas labor practices, as they are more transparent about where their clothing is manufactured, where the fabric comes from, etc. They are not saints (they, too, are in it for the money) but I do think they have better practices than Gap Inc. or the Amazon sellers that are just black boxes in terms of labor/environment. |
Totally agree with this. I have some nice things I bought a couple years ago, but the options now are trash. |
OP, it's a little pricer, but I wear Pact now and I love their stuff. |
also laughing at “highly regarded”. It is old navy. |
Most of my workout leggings/tights/pants are Old Navy. I like they way they look on me, they are comfortable, and they last. I also like their sports bras. I don't like their tanks as much. |
I have an pair old navy leggings I like. I also have a pair from the Gap I like. But I am not brand loyal, I also have Athleta, lululemon, and sweaty Betty. Sweaty Betty power leggings are probably the highest quality out of all of the brands but I heard they changed them recently. |
Everlane is garbage. They feel like plastic. Can’t believe you would recommend them. |
