Did everyone get in somewhere? Anyone get waitlisted everywhere?

Applied to SFS and got in SFS.

WL everywhere but two (rejections). Coming from public, A/B student. Used to be a straight A student but never fully recovered from virtual learning depression. Bad day. Congratulations to those with choices.

Location Location Location for us, we live in the suburban wasteland of MC. The WL schools were in DC.

DD in at Holton, which was the only private she applied to. 9th grade.

Waitlisted everywhere. Rejected from NCS. Straight A student from DCPS. Only applied to “big 5” (not trying to start a fight on that, just using the common vernacular.) Would have been a financial stretch so we didn’t apply to safer choices. We’ll look to Walls or Jackson Reed. Congrats to everyone else. But disappointing nonetheless.

Wow...sounds like it was a rough day for you guys, but an acceptance to a school doesn't define you, your child or your family. I'm sure your girl is amazing and will shine wherever she ends up...you should plan something fun and special for her this weekend. Sending hugs

Waitlisted in all schools. We were strongly considering going to mcps public (from a small private), so the WL in a way decided it for us.

My heart sank when I read this. One of my children crashed during DCPS virtual learning. Hugs to you And them.

Congratulations! Uniforms are amazing--especially for girls. Makes it so much easier in the am.
