problems with FSAFEDS.com

I have an FSA credit card from a different job and it's way, way easier to use. It works at Target, Amazon, everything!

It was super simple to use and got me my reimbursement quick. It did deny a few doctor's receipts I tried to get reimbursement for (I shouldn't have bothered, but it was like $400 in January. Still can't figure out why that was denied). My surgery was in November and it was enough that it used my whole FSA.

Never had a problem with the website at all. Wish it used my PIV card though for access! I love the other fed sites that use that.

Also, FSA dependent care is sooo easy. Way easier than the FSA health care stuff.

For doctors' visits, always use the EOB that you can download from your health insurance website. They will deny pretty much any receipt that you get from the doctor because those never contain whatever details they want.

No kidding, they have messed up the system. If the objective is to piss of as many individuals as possible, you have succeeded.

I’ve been using the app for years without issue. I did have to log onto the actual site recently for making financial elections, which I recall may have been a pain with the password. But the app is really user friendly (just tested it out and my saved password worked with a code sent to my phone for 2 factor authentication).

Also it auto reimburses any out of pocket expenses based on my EOBs (guess it’s somehow linked to Federal BCBS). The only thing I manually submit is childcare receipts (I hit the 5k and then some by March for preschool tuition). I usually just upload my tuition statement mid year for a chunk of $ to catch up from pre-paying summer camps for my older kids.
