Need HELP! My child is seriously struggling in HS

I know a child with a similar profile who is at McLean in Maryland. I know all of these choices are expensive - we looked at it as if we did not address it now, everything in the future is a lot more expensive. We stopped contributing to 401K for a few years to have the financial flexibility.
Once we got the school thing taken care of, it opened up so much space in our lives to engage in other things.
