Getting into marijuana

Anonymous
I have consumed a lot of weed in my life. Since 1997.

I think it's actually made me feel better and/or enhanced my experience under 10% of the time I've used it.

These days especially I find that it makes me stress and overthink things.

I'm glad that other people enjoy it and benefit from it.

I live in Fairfax and a quick look on Yelp shows 10 dispensaries in less than an hour’s drive. I pass 3 on my drive to work every day. I agree with a PP who said it was strange for people to be acting so surprised by something that is mainstream. As a busy mom I’m out of the loop on a whole lot of things but I don’t really understand just not being aware of major societal shifts. Are you all the same people who get interviewed and can’t name the vice president?

Others should not have to endure it.

Others should not have to endure you.

That is a compliment coming from a drug user.

It’s not ironic that losers like yourself would smoke anything and everything.

When you aren’t high, if that is possible, you should look up the definition of irony.

Your opinion may change when the odor is everywhere and saturates street life. It nauseates me. I’m all for low dose edibles. Anything but clouds of nasty smoke.

The pain is unbearable especially at night. I didn't/don't want to be a pharmaceutical junkie. I am 15 years into this disease.
I'm in my 60s. I only smoke weed at night. Maybe once a week. Only when I am in severe pain. I use a half tobacco half weed mix and use a cigarette machine to put it in a filtered cigarette tube.
I quit driving 3 years ago so I am not out being stupid. I'm in my garage late at night so no one knows. I never actually get high just buzzed. I'm not interested in getting high. I just want relief. The effects last long because I'm not a regular user. It's the best most natural drug I can use without getting addicted.

I wonder what my family would think if they knew. Grandma's on the chronic for chronic pain.

Good for you pp.

I've been using gummies because I don't like smoking.

Gummies have been great. No smoke, no odor, and they slowly, gradually, give you a high. Good portion control too (I’m good with half). I also like what OP alluded to, which is that you know what is in it: I like these gummies that have more CBD than THC in them, which is really good for pain relief.

I’m in the same boat OP and I’ve tried gummies in increasing doses and I don’t feel anything, or barely anything. I already sleep well so I don’t see the point for me.

It took trial and error to find what works for me. Specific brands and dosages. How much will just help me relax but fully function. How much is the equivalent of a glass or two of wine with just a slight buzz and how much is too much.

But now that I know what my dosage is and stick to it I love it. Takes the edge off (chronic pain). A nicer buzz than alcohol for me without the hangover.

Bunch of losers of can’t function without being stoned.
