I think it will depend on the private school and the classes at Churchill. I know several families whose kids have ADHD and have done well at Churchill. If you can't afford the private school and want to save for college, that's a good reason to make the move. If you can afford private, and you and your child are happy there, I probably wouldn't move my child. If your child wants to make the move, then I'd probably try it. Our children have been in public schools the entire way, but I don't think you can measure ROI solely on academics at a private. The smaller class size, EC, assistance in curating the child toward college, and other services are a benefit of private. It comes down to what is right for your child and your family and what you can afford. |
