And a third newly elected Republican member of Congress lying about his background

No, he's not an economist. In fact he only took one econ class (at community college) and got a C.

And he didn't get a degree in "International Relations" - it's in "liberal studies."

It took him 17 years to finally get a degree - those semesters where he flunked every class probably held him back.

My husband is a quite accomplished computer scientist, considered one by every company he ever worked for - and works for. He doesn’t have a college degree. Is he a not a computer scientist without that piece of paper? Is he a fraud?

Does your husband claim he has a college degree in computer science? Then yes, he is a fraud. If he doesn't claim to have a college degree, then he's good. It's the lying that's the problem with this guy, but you know that.

This seems like such easy pickings if you are running against him (or any of the others).

It is kind of amazing. This guy has been around for years as the mayor of a county with 100,000 people. He briefly ran for US Senate six years ago among other offices.

Why wouldn’t he want to admit to a degree in liberal studies?

“Empty Sue” kicked his ass.

So George Santos stole money meant for Amish puppies, and this guy Ogles stole money meant for dead babies.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

This also seems VERY Santos-esque - the House Ethics Committee uncovered that Santos faked a huge “loan” from himself to his campaign, and then used that fake huge campaign finances lead among his rivals for clout to get donors. All the local news reporters left should be looking for similar scams among their candidates.

EXCLUSIVE: He doesn't report having checking or savings. So where did Andy Ogles get $320,000 he claimed he loaned his campaign?

Might have run unopposed.

Or maybe the GOP could do a basic job of vetting its candidates.

Yup, there was a GoFundMe where Ogles raised money for a children's burial garden that was never built, raking in almost $25,000.

Ogles has not released any evidence of what he did with the money.

It took nearly two years to get rid of Santos. If this guy’s gonna get gone, he’d better be pretty bad.

This sounds very Santos-esque.

“Rep. Andy Ogles told the FEC he loaned his campaign $320,000 from his own personal funds.

But his personal financial disclosures have numerous inconsistencies - and don't show where that money could be from.”

Congressman Andy Ogles admits his claims to have loaned $320,000 to his campaign were not true He’s still not saying what he did with the $25,000 meant for the child burial garden.
