When will catholic HS acceptances go out?

Some of the schools are not clear on their website. For example, only saying decisions are "mailed" on a certain Friday. Does that mean postal mail or email? Are they also always posted to the portal? I know each school will be different, but what are the common procedures?

Visi says only end of February. I thought it was the 17th, but now I can't remember where I got that from.

Is St Johns harder or easier to get into than Stone Ridge/Gonzaga?

SJC is easier than Gonzaga (on average). I don’t know about SR as a comparison.

Their last email said decisions are posted to the portal on 2/24 @ 5 pm

Anyone applying to a school would know this. They make it abundantly clear, or you go on the schools site under admissions and it is posted ther.e

If you are asking WHAT TIME do they hit the portal?

Last year the mail came on Friday the 25th and had envelopes.
SJC hit the portal mid afternoon - maybe 3:30 for us - but if you go to DCUM Private School section for 2/25/22, you will see it appeared that SJC was releasing info in waves. They did have ~ 1200 applicants.

The other Catholic High Schools we applied to hit the portal closer to 5 PM

I had a friend like this. Just by coincidence she called same day decisions came out and when my news were better than she expected, she made some snide remarks about the schools. She is now a former friend.

I think unlike the non-Catholic private that (most of? all of?) have agreed to announce on the same day (March 3 this year), the Catholics don’t all go at the same time.

It’s really not a secret. One can look at most websites and see decision dates for releases. Many Annapolis and Baltimore independent schools as well as ADB schools are this Thursday/Friday. ADW are split between the end of this week and next week. DC and VA independent schools are March 3 for most part. Boarding on March 10.

Looks like NOVA Catholics go out today. Anyone know if decisions are mailed, emailed, or go through the portal?
