Yes this first one! OP my DH is like you and square plastic frame glasses look best on him |
I also have a round face and I have a double chin. I've found that large rectangular glasses or glasses with a slight cat eye work best for me. It's important to me that my glasses don't hide my eyebrows because I feel like those help bring attention away from my chin. I also like to take selfies of myself when trying on glasses in the store. When I look at the selfies later, I see how they look on me in a different way than in the mirror. |
Another large headed, round-faced person here. Lafont frames with slight cat eye are the absolute best for me. Lafont frames are pricey, yes, but they last for many more years than others I've worn. When I was thinner, rectangular frames were fine but with aging the slight cat eye somehow works better. |
I have a gigantic head also. Warby parker makes wide sizes, not sure about frame shape but I've found their phone camera try on thing pretty good. I mean, I was happy with the frames I selected using that. |
Check out what George Costanza wears. |
