How to keep elderly (mid 70s) dad busy with his aide?

When my dad was in the hospital, the nurses printed out word searches and mazes for him to do. It would keep him busy. He would often tell me about them and how the words are spelled wrong. So, even though he couldn't really do them, it was something he was familiar with and it kept him busy.

My dad quickly lost the ability to use his phone and iPad. He couldn't figure out the remote control. Anything electronic was difficult for him to use.
