Went out to Great American Restaurant first time in 2 years, disappointed by $ and quality

It’s probably because you have gotten used to what real home cooked food tastes like. The American chain type restaurants are mostly dishing up frozen stuff, Gordon foods/Sysco stuff. A lot is pre-prepared processed garbage food.

There is no Clyde’s in fairfax county. They are all in dc, Maryland, Alexandria city and Loudoun (Broadlands).

We went to Artie's in November and the service was pretty bad - it was crazy busy and our server was nowhere to be found for most of the meal.

Carlyle has gone downhill big time. It used to be our go to family dinner out but the good quality has been bad. One example- kid got a burger that was burned top and bottom, the other kid got one that was completely raw in the middle (both ordered medium well).

Mark Center is part of Old Town? I had no idea!

GAR is way better than Clyde’s. Clyde’s went downhill way before the pandemic.
