Does preschool class size matter?

It's a fact a small classroom helps children. Every child needs individual attention. I wish classroom should have more staff for kids like in centers, it's crazy.
I prefer family daycares and then they transcicion those big classes in kinder of 1 teacher. Awful.

Teachers deserves better pay and the assistants. We need more fundings for education, healthcare, our communities and more social programs

How is any of this answering OP's question?

Small children needs more individual attention, I mean all kids do.

I don't like places with 10 or 15 kids with 1 teacher. Crazy

My child’s preschool class has 15 students with a 1:5 caregiver ratio. They’ve had zero safety issues.

I am a preschool teacher. OP, the original preschool that you described sounds lovely. If it works for you, I would switch her back without reservation. Montessori isn’t a good fit for everyone and 24 kids with 8 adults sounds overwhelming to me.
