Maybe take a minute to actually find out the truth, instead of spouting off a "probably" that is false. |
I cannot tell you how hard it feels to live under the constant threat of gun violence in our country. I catch myself having fleeting throughts - and mentally saying a prayer - when I'm buying groceries. Even at a normally "above all that" store like Whole Foods, where you'd never expect gun violence.
My daughter is a student at UC Santa Cruz and I have actually stood on that campus and said a prayer to God to protect my DD and all the students from any possible shooters. My life and mental state should never have come to this point. |
All guns should be made illegal. I am a gun owner. I will give up my guns in a heartbeat and pour money to any party that fights for outlawing guns. |
Neither does gun control. It does not work. |
Californian here - We literally voted for Newsom and gun control, by a landslide. We have the strictest gun laws in the entire country. Do you live under a rock on a deserted island, and only come out to post stupid things on the internet? |
Go ahead. It doesn't have to be a legal requirement for you to give up your guns. Set a good example without being forced to do so. |
It’s not the guns, it’s Americans. Don’t at me.

+ 1. We already have complete gun control. That’s obviously not the answer. Mental health care is the more difficult, but obviously right solution to this problem. |
It’s Americans with guns. - German |
That too - Canadian |
Riiiiight. Sure you are. ![]() |
DP. My DH is a military vet who has served in combat and owns guns. He would also give up his guns if asked. He’s neither paranoid that we need them to protect ourselves from marauding gangs or a tyrannical government nor entertaining delusions about what it is like to shoot someone. |

Public hanging of the gun-men and their families. |
Why should the family be strung up? They are often victims of these angry men. |
