It's self-paced with videos and quizzes, definitely can do it along with other activities. One of my kids did in it summer and the other opted to take IB Economics senior year. He still had a free period senior year. It would have been harder for my other kid to fit it in + electives she wanted to try because she does music and that always takes an elective slot.

NP. The APS summer class is not really self paced although asynchronous. You can work ahead, but there are deadlines every other day. It is a commitment of several hours 4 days a week--DD took it last summer with a job, and it was a busy 5 weeks.

Another +1 for this. DD did it with a job and a travel sport, and she spent some time in hotel rooms watching videos about predatory lending and credit cards.
