I don't love to hate on ACPS. The failure of ACPS for my children is my lived experience and it is wrong for you to dismiss that. Have some compassion.
Brooks has some of the worst proficiency results for economically disadvantaged kids (the true measure of how a school is performing). What do you say to the parents of the 63% of kids who aren't proficient in reading at brooks? Or the 67% who aren't proficient in math? Do you tell them to stop loving to hate on ACPS and that your already privileged kid got the fantastic teachers?
