No, not using an architect - changes are cosmetic only (floors, bathrooms). This is not an $100k+ job.

Then you need to specify what your tolerances are. Price of a project has nothing to with needing an architect or not. Hiring a professional to fill in the gap in your knowledge on construction is the reason you hire an architect. They don’t just do drawings, you can hire them to just do specifications or consult on an hourly basis.
