No one cares about undergrad business school rankings in the business world. M7 is what actually matters.

For those not familiar with the terminology, M7 is an acronym for the Magnificent 7 MBA Programs (Harvard, Stanford, Penn, Chicago, Northwestern, MIT, & Columbia(.

And they don't even accept students without significant real job experience.
So it's something you get to consider later.

Are you blind?
OP specifically mentioned and paid attention to Northeastern.

You are correct that I did include a final statement in my original post that N'eastern's MBA program was one of the "biggest losers" (the articles choice of words, not mine) in the rankings as it fell 17 spots to #83.

I included this note because N'eastern seems to get injected into every college & university thread--so at least one poster has a strong interest in this school.

Three MBA programs fell 19 spots: UC-San Diego, St. Louis University, & Clemson's MBA Program (I was unaware that Clemson had an MBA program), then N'eastern's 17 spot fall followed by LSU's 16 spot decline.

Northeastern has become a joke because of its boosters trying to insert it in leagues it doesn't belong, never did and won't for foreseeable future.

All these “rankings” are dumb. Everyone in business knows Stanford GSB and HBS are the best in terms of student caliber, job prospects, etc. Wharton is up there too but there’s still a gap. Generally schools with strong undergrad programs (like Yale, Duke) also perform really well for placing in top jobs regardless of rankings because the parent school name brand is so strong.

Just pointing out not always to the last point, my cousin was accepted to Stanford Business School while still in undergrad. It is a two year delayed start to allow time for working. She, however, had her acceptance her senior year of college. And, FWIW, she was not a business undergrad major.

Yes I know about M7, but obviously not all M7 are equal. And M7 aren’t necessarily the best for everything either. That’s like saying the Ivy League is the best for everything when obviously that’s not true

Believe it or not, it's not that obvious to some.

They learned well from UVA boosters.

I'm glad to see Northeastern beat out those conniving cuthroats at:

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT.

Yes, MIT has an undergrad business major. You can also study undergrad business at other schools that do not cooperate with Poets and Quants:

Caltech, Brown, Rice, Berkely, UCLA.

Not sure why MBAs would still aspire to join McKinsey (unless for the money or connections) given the evil it has caused or exacerbated in our society (including the opioid crisis and deaths). This is based on the book, When McKinsey Comes to Town.

My son didn't even consider M or other 2. More evil than other evils.
