| Trummers or Trattoria Villagio in Clifton. Both really nice for date night |
| Draper's in Fairfax City if they are in 22030 |
| Hamrockâs |
| +1 for the Clifton restaurants. Great American Restaurants have great food, but are pretty busy and loud. |
L'Auberge is Great FAlls, not Fairfax City. |
Not Zenola. Food was okay (not great) and service was horribly inattentive. We spent hours having dinner there and not in a good, leisurely way. |
Really $$$ For Thai: Sisters or Courtside For pub grub: Auld Shebeen |
| The Wine House in Fairfax City. GAR (Artie's is in the City). Mama Tigre in Oakton (delicious, but admittedly not quiet). |
Only if they're drinkers. Food is so bad
|
Also its $$$$! We were at Rock the Block in September and my very mild mannered friend looked up the menu. Friend's response to the pricing was "Holy $@$%!". Friend never swears! |
The Wine House is really good and such a cute little place. We also love Dolce Vita. Such a hidden gem. |
| The GAR group is nice because they have locations all around the Fairfax area and Fairfax County. The food is reliably very good and although they are busy, we've never had trouble hearing conversation at one of their restaurants. |
