Swedish Ginger Cookies, made with bacon fat. *chef’s kiss*

I also make a tahini snowball cookie, which is a tree-but free variation of the usual recipe.

Trust Alton Brown and his peanut butter cookies. 5 minutes to whip it up from things you probably already have.

I just made these, and they are amazing but take some time: https://smittenkitchen.com/2007/11/rugelach-pinwheels/

Recommendations don’t have to be limited to cookies, BTW. Anything portable will do - candy, bars, brownies, etc. I’m thinking of whipping up some marshmallows. They’re horribly messy, but fun to make.

You are making homemade marshmallows? If you were dissing the Mexican wedding cakes, is it rude for me to call your homemade marshmallows sticky and gross?

Oh they make a giant mess, but makes great gifts for households with kids. The texture is very ASMR. Flavor with peppermint, swirl some green food coloring through, and you’re all set. I’m not planning to eat any, although I much prefer the taste to something like a Mexican wedding cookie.

Sorry. That is not convincing me, but you do you.

I guess everyone disgusts other people at some point.
