Mind your own business and stop telling parents what's best for their children.

I give one of my kids Adderall. All kids are all of our business. Not yours, but everyone who cares about our children, our future.

Maybe the company will offer a program to buy directly from them. I do this for Synthroid because my insurance company insists that I get the useless generic.

My kids need it to get through life not just school. What do you suggest I change oh wise one? Their brains?

Adderal is requiring prior authorization. I never got a notice that they would stop covering it. I would left them at open season. I really really dislike insurance companies

UHC still covers it both generic and brand name. No prior authorization. I pay $35/month for brand and $0 for generic. When I can find it that is.

I read the PP's post as a critique of our school systems and culture. I agree with the critique. School systems could step up and make changes. Unfortunately they won't, due to cost and convenience.

You are choosing to change their brains - rather than changing your expectations.

When 10-25% or more of kids are medicated, everyone loses sight of appropriate expectations and interactions.

You go ahead and get working on that.
