 Because I would let them do school work for an hour every day if it was available. It’s preferable. I don’t want to promise the teachers work will get done when then I’m fact it’s cannot get done. If it’s not possible, I know to let the teachers know that the kids cannot complete work while away.  | 
							
						
 Then don’t promise. Say “if the have access, they will try.” Teachers won’t spend more than a moment thinking about assignments being completed when they are on vacation. (HS Math Teacher)  |
