Yes, the design is really appealing. They know the white one ("ash") is most attractive, that one was also not on sale at the time.

Make sure they are crash tested for your and dog's safety. Watching some of the videos is scary. The sleepypod was crazy expensive but really well made.

It's huge and a bit of an eyesore in our bedroom but not really any worse than the one in the OP IMO and a lot less expensive ($100). It has a divider so you can customize the size as your dog grows. Our dog is now seven and loves his crate. He sleeps in it every night and spends some time during the day there as well (door is always open).
