The only thing missing from the Princeton's data is Columbia Prof Michael Thaddeus' analysis on why the numbers don't add up. |
This, I am a hiring manager and we offer 100k base, 20% bonus and 70k stocks |
| Less than half of seniors actually took this survey...Princeton has like 1,300 kids per class and less than 500 took this survey. |
that's .. sad. My niece graduated from Rutgers a couple of years ago, undergrad in biotech now makes $105k. Took out no loans and is now looking to buy some property. |
So such a huge discrepancy between pell grant receivers and non-receivers. Seems to me kids of rich families taking easy majors and getting high paying jobs through rich dads. Low and middle class families should not be scammed by these. |
Right. Except Princeton offers very generous aid to low and middle class families, so not exactly a scam. |
How many are really getting a $200k start with CS? |
I’m confused. I thought engineering paid a lot? It’s certainly much harder than Poli Sci. |
| Who is getting $500k, where and why? |
It's different. PoliSci requires lot of reading, writing and intellectual analysis which most math brains can't do. |
You are totally backward lol DoE data is the real one without rich dad trust fund kids |
because that's fake data and here's the real one https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/school/?186131-Princeton-University |
Most of the people on this board are full-pay so DoE data won’t apply to them. |
Again — most of the people on this board are full pay so DoE data doesn’t apply to them |
