Both our daycares would just bag up the dirty clothes and send home. This is very reasonable to ask about. Your daycare may be interpreting a licensing guideline in an extreme way. |
Ask if you can provide a wet/dry bag to have them sent home in. If they permit cloth diaper, they might allow this. Mostly it becomes about where and how to store the soiled items safely until pick up. |

+1 that is so wasteful, especially for infants! The go thru stages where this happens so often! Ours sends them home in a plastic bag uncleaned, exactly like PPs are saying. Have two kids in daycare for 6 yrs combined so far. |
If you’re going to ask them not to, I would send large ziploc freezer bags and a small solid nylon laundry bag. Into the ziplock, into the laundry bag and home to you. |
