Definitely no Tabard Inn. Iron Gate is right down the street and much better/nicer.

I haven't been to tabard in a few years. I've never was absolutely crazy about the food, but it's always been okay to good. There were a few dishes that were quite good. What I love about it is the "cozy." Does it still at least have "cozy" going for it?

Definitely agree with The Dabney, Tail Up Goat, and Little Pearl. Another one I haven’t seen mentioned that we loved is Bresca.
