Loved seven seater Volkswagen Atlas at first though there aren’t enough cup holders and it is a gas guzzler. All of a sudden this 2019 had the coolant like come on again and again. Kept going to dealer to get coolant. No leak. But then told coolant needed to be flushed. Had to pay after taking car twice to dealership when coolant like kept coming on. Wondered if there is a problem with electronics.
Battery gave out and got it charged enough to go to dealership. Required a new battery that needed a special technician to install and reprogram car. Total $700 for coolant flush and battery. Same day battery died after dropping off child at school. Had car towed to dealership after new battery died. Technician not there so had to get around by Lyft. Researching other cars so can trade in 2019 Atlas. So disappointed in this affordable car. Wonder if Waggoner and Defender better with trade in, but may be too expensive. Lyft expensive so may need to rent a car for a while. German made might not be the quality expected. |

Atlas is made in America, by American workers and is not sold in Germany.
BTW batteries going after 4 years and flushing coolant after four years is really more maint than issues |
