San Diego Style Fish Taco in DC?

California Tortilla in Cleveland Park but only when they use white fish like tilapia. sometimes they use salmon and it overwhelms the taco.

Yes, the Maui fish tacos are AMAZING!! (Athough I satisfied my fish taco cravings at Baja fresh when I was pregnant 3 yrs ago, and they are also really good.)

I made beef tacos for DH yesterday and wanted fish tacos. Since I only had fresh shrimp I steamed those in a steam bag in microwave with Old Bay seasoning, peeled them, cut them up and made shrimp tacos for me. It was very good. I put cocktail sauce instead of salsa on one and had a lot of fresh veggies. I will make it again this summer.

me too! i used to have to go to San Diego a couple of times a year for work and Rubio's was the best part of the trip (sortof sad, i know, but i love those fish tacos!)
