Where/how do you store your garlic/ginger?

Both in the freezer. I use one of those Trader Joe’s chopped ginger cube trays and refill it. Garlic is a big bag of peeled cloves I buy in bulk at Costco.

Garlic in the refrigerator

Do you peel the ginger b4 freezing?

I keep my ginger in the crisper drawer. I chop off a small piece for smoothies almost every day. I froze some once and it came out squishy when I thawed it.

in the pantry (which stays cooler than the rest of the kitchen) with the onions and potatoes. We bought some minced ginger at costco and that stays in the fridge, but I don't really like it so when it's used up we'll go back to fresh.

Garlic on the counter. I grow ginger in a pot which comes indoors in winter. I just cut off a piece of root as needed.

Garlic, onions & potatoes in a hanging wire basket.

Ginger I buy grated in a jar, which I keep in the fridge.

Garlic in a ceramic garlic keeper on the counter.
I usually buy ginger from Asian stores and grate most of it right away - store in ice cube trays in the freezer. I keep a small quantity in the fridge for when I need juliennes.
