True, but he's in lockstep with all the leftie Dems on the hill. Not a moderate. |
You are so far right you can’t even see moderate. |
+1 I have friends who have been lifelong Republicans, that like and respect Beyer (even if some don't live in his district) |
|
I’ve been in his district for years and he usually stays focused on issues without getting personal like many of the younger politicians.
There are quite a few local Democrats I wouldn’t vote for again but Beyer seems like a good guy. And the district isn’t competitive anyway. |
| No, Don Beyer is great. I'm totally voting Beyer. |
Women! Latinos! Stand with Ukraine! |
| Is he the car dealership guy? |
| Beyer is pretty reasonable and understands his constituency. But even if I didn’t like him, this former Republican will not vote for anyone attached to the current Republican Party. They have no policies other than pander to the rich and vote against anything that might help the general population, and lately have veered into anti-democratic forces. All politicians kind of suck, but there is no longer any equivalency on the kind of suckage. |
Don had a Chinese agent working on his staff. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11367073/House-Democrats-aide-FIRED-working-behalf-Chinese-embassy.html |
Did you even read the article? It isn’t critical of Beyer at all and notes he’s been tough on China. |
| Beyer actually cares about his constituents, even those who didn’t vote for him. I appreciate the consideration and care he gives all who live in his district and the communication he provides about why he votes a certain way or not. He seems to value his community and want to make it a better place by being a voice for all of his constituents. Which is exactly what a member of congress should be doing. |
I mean, the sign is pink and says women and I’m a woman and she’s a woman so…
|
I want to sharpie MAGA on all of them. MAGA Women! MAGA Latinos! |
Exactly. He takes the job seriously and is very accessible. |
