Is anyone else a fan of Illusions: Richard Bach

I went through a big Richard Bach phase in high school, with Illusions being one of my favorites, but suspect I would not be into it today. My favorite back then was One.

Oh, he was with Leslie Parrish for 21 years, but after their divorce he was immediately hooked up with a fan 34 years younger than he was. I believe she became wife #3, and he later divorced her.

He was married to her for that period but I thought I read that they began living pretty separate lives even while promoting their books together. Perhaps I’m wrong.

I hadn't heard that, but I would not be surprised.

Same! But mine was sophomore-senior year of college. I loved his books back then, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't now.
I would guess it's like other people's Ayn Rand phase. Ha.

His personal life is of no concern to me. Illusions is a great book and very important to me still today.

He lost a lot of credibility with A Bridge Across Tomorrow when he split from his “soulmate.”
