Tell me how your FET turned out

Four FETs resulted in one life partner. Each transfer had two embryos, so one take-home baby out of eight embryos. My approach was realistic. And I think you’d be wise to do the same. If you transfer and it’s successful, it would be amazing! If you transfer and it doesn’t take, which at your age is statistically more likely, then you manage your expectations and prep for an outcome for it potentially not taking.

Had one failed fresh transfer, only one other embryo made it to freeze - had a FET a couple months after the failed fresh transfer, it took, and now have my beautiful son!

1 FET 1 baby. I have one embryo left and also want to give it a chance.

I had one fresh IVF cycle at 41 fail with no embryos to freeze. I did a second cycle with a different protocol, also at 41, transferred two embryos and one became my oldest son. I did an FET 14 months later, transferred two embryos, and again one grew, and I had my second son. I had 3 more frozen embryos I did not end up transferring. None of my embryos were PGS tested. The boys are now 9 and 11 years old.

Had one IVF cycle at 41, produced a bunch of embryos. Transferred two fresh untested -> one healthy baby girl. Transferred a PGS tested frozen one at 44 => one healthy baby boy. First try both.

1 IVF cycle. 3 FETs, 2 babies. 1 did not take. 2 embryos left.

I was 28 during the cycle with an unexplained infertility dx.

I did a FET from my IVF cycle because I was PGT testing and it was successful. It depends on the grading but my doctor said the odds were about 60% with a high grade embryo.

Just wishing you good luck OP! About to embark on the same quest here! Had DC at 40 after third FET with untested from cycling between 38-39. Now trying at 44 with a few untested to see if a miracle happens again (we were unexplained - started ivf after natural miscarriage at 38 and then had several cycles of ivf “banking” a bit as had problems making 5day blasts-so decided no testing-and wanted to finish cycling by 40). Definitely have same feelings - will be content a miracle happened once, but secretly hoping lightning strikes twice. Have started prelim testing, btw - absolutely recommend careful prep testing as found a bit of uterine scarring issues from first c-section that will make FET tricky second time around. After discovered it, went back to OB and MFM just for consult (just in case FET works) to talk about if got pregnant with these issues what it would look like and risks to my health and if it happens the pregnancy. Consult was worth it as if this works this time around will definitely be difft (uterus was in better shape previously and would have higher percentages of possible pregnancy complications even if implants perfectly - nothing’s easy is it!). In any case, wishing you the absolute best for your own hopes and dreams and crossed fingers!

Just wondering for all who have posted- we’re your FETs all medicated or were any of the successes from a more natural/modified natural protocol?

I’ve had two FETs of high quality embryos and both resulted in live births.
