Ugh, no. My Wegman’s sushi is overpriced and not that good. I much prefer to get my reasonably priced sushi players at my local Asian market like Lotte.

Meant to say platters, not players

What makes sushi good versus 'not better than chick-fil-a nuggets?
I've eaten plenty of sushi in my life and I never developed an opinion over good versus bad sushi. Just raw tuna and raw salmon and a ton of wasabi diluted in a little soy works for me. What am I missing?

If you truly feel this way, then continue to get your sushi from wegmans. Because truly fresh sushi is a waste for you. Not a dig, I can't tell the difference between a bottle of wine from $20 - $200 and would never pay a lot for myself. But for sushi, I agree that Balduccis is the lowest I'd go -- and for anything less I'd prefer a chicken nugget.

You get sushi rolls from a sushi restaurant. Not from Wegmans.

I like Whole Foods sushi but not Wegman's, Giant, Fresh Market, etc. I've gotten platters from WF for parties. Some restaurants will lend out a boat for you to use.

I really don’t know what makes sushi good but I can tell that Wegmans sushi is not good. This is the DC location, May be the quality varies by location?

Yuck.

Over priced and not enough fish.

In Kentlands, there are three great sushi places literally right near WF. And they cost like 50% less.
