And there's going to be another time jump between the two parts. Not two years (they don't have 2 years before the death date). They have done this before mid season.

Thank you for this link. Another 10 episodes seems ambitious. I feel like the storyline is naturally ending already. I guess we will see.

I loved the first few seasons. Then I started watching the most recent one after the time jump and meh. I hated how the dad ignored his other kids in the quest for his daughter. I totally get that you would always be searching but to neglect the others really upset me. I still love Jared (heart eyes) but I just couldn't get into it. Post the spoilers here because I cancelled my Netflix lol

I actually really liked the final of this. I was expecting more of a mess than Lost but I think they actually brought it together much better than Lost did. I think the micaela actress even learned how to act along the way.
I think the writers did a phenomenal job with shifting focus after several long breaks — eg moving to the internment area made it sort of a different show and kept it from getting too tired. With the resolution I am somewhat sad that Vance never gets to be friends with Ben—I hope Vance has some other way to really become the awesome guy we know he is.

The casting on the twins was so spot on — it was creepy how much they looked alike.

Did the mom actress have a baby a few years ago? She was heavier before she got cut and is now very thin.

The Sanvi chracter did irk me. She had so little sense of humor and was so whiny. she just didn’t ring true to me as a character, as a high achieving medical type/.

I was the pp upthread who said ten episodes seems ambitious. I loved all 10 and thought the finale was great! I think the writers learned from Lost and gave us a great satisfying ending.
