Leftover buttercream frosting

Buttercream that’s just sugar and butter will last a long time in the fridge especially if you didn’t do any taste tests with a not perfectly clean finger (no judgment from me if you did). As long as it’s airtight—I push a couple layers of Saran Wrap onto the surface and then put the Tupperware lid on.

I believe it has added half and half or heavy cream to it. Still good for a month in the frig? I cannot guarantee a finger ir double dipped spoon wasn’t used or stick in it at some point

I'm 16:05 from page 1.

My recipe is powdered sugar, lots of butter, heavy cream, and vanilla extract Nothing else. No issues with it lasting a month.

Pretty sure if it's buttercream it's just butter, sugar, and egg whites. No cream even though it's creamy. No to a month in the fridge, just a few days. Freeze it.
