Real middle class aren't living in those houses. |
| Somebody has to pay for all the TV commercials. |
| Get quotes from other companies and then switch. It is an annoying task but if you weren't already doing it every year or two, you were probably paying too much. |

No claims and high premiums on our auto and home insurance and our rates have been skyrocketing. We switched to All State and will save $1900 this year. Will have to see if this is a rate just to reel us in, then they’ll do what Geico did to us and bump our rates up significantly every year.
As for the free roofs, we get those guys in our neighborhood too. Some neighbors took them up on their free roof “deal.” We passed even though they assured us they could locate storm damage. We are paying out of pocket for our roof. Not sure if I’m the smart one or not? Free roof sounds nice, but seems shady, unless there was a real event for putting in a claim. |
It’s a thing called insurance fraud. |
If you don’t want higher premiums, you should call your company and tell them the roofing company name. |
| Try getting a quote with Erie Insurance. |
Same thing here with Liberty. No claims. They're asking 50% more on top of a 25% increase the year before. New construction, 10 years old, no claims whatsoever. |
I am absolutely middle class (bought my house for less than $400,000 3 years go. Also had liberty and at that time it was $350/year. IT's not $900. Zero reason other than my house went up in value some. |
| It's now $900 not "not" |
