Daycare used their sick days

If I overreacted and did things like sending kids home for a skipped lunch, then I would not be expecting generous clients. The having to pay the 6 weeks upfront was odd as well.

I’m sure that came about because they’ve been burned by bad clients who forgot to pay while they’re on vacation or providers who have to chase down payments.

OP, they sound very rigid, maybe they have reasons for being rigid but sending home because of skipped lunch is not right unless there were other symptoms. You might have to find a new provider.

I'd find a new provider. You aren't happy here.

You’re paying $2000 a month for a home daycare?

+1

Aside from the ridiculous rules they seem to have about sending children home, I would assume 5 days a year refers to the school year, not the calendar year. But clarification is needed.
